About
I’ve always had a deep appreciation for nature, its balance, wisdom, and the sense of connection it creates. That passion led me to study the natural world in depth, completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph and a Master of Science in Biology at the University of Victoria. My early career in environmental research strengthened my understanding of how living systems work, adapt, and heal. This knowledge would later become an unexpected foundation for my work in medicine.

Like many, I struggled with my own health concerns for years. After trying different treatments without meaningful improvement, I discovered naturopathic medicine. It was the first approach that connected the dots for me, showing me how my internal health was directly influencing my external symptoms, like how my digestion was impacting my skin. In many ways, it felt like the same principles I had studied in nature, such as interconnectedness, homeostasis, and resiliency, were now being applied to human health. That realization was transformative. It inspired me to return to school and change careers so I could bring the wisdom of nature and science together to help others find the same clarity and healing I did.

I went on to complete the four-year Doctor of Naturopathy program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where I trained in evidence-based care, clinical practice, and the therapeutic tools of naturopathic medicine. During my final year, I interned at several naturopathic clinics across Ontario and at an Urgent Care Centre in Brampton, gaining experience supporting patients with a wide range of health concerns. One of the most meaningful parts of my journey was volunteering with Naturopaths Without Borders in the hilltop villages of Northern Thailand, providing care to communities with limited access to healthcare. That experience reaffirmed my belief that healing must be both accessible and rooted in each individual’s unique story.

Today, my goal is to empower my patients to take charge of their health in a way that is aligned with their values. Naturopathic medicine beautifully blends the wisdom of nature with modern science, allowing us to support the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health. It’s an honour to guide my patients through their healing journey with clarity, compassion, and deep respect for the interconnectedness that shapes all living systems.

My Approach
My approach to healing is deeply holistic and rooted in the understanding that the body, mind, and spirit are inherently interconnected. I blend modern research, functional/laboratory testing, and evidence-informed assessment with the ancient wisdom of botanical medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture, homeopathy, and targeted nutrition and lifestyle strategies. These therapies support the body’s innate intelligence and its natural capacity to restore balance, harmony, and vitality.

Alongside these foundational practices, I incorporate energy-based modalities such as muscle testing (applied kinesiology), tapping, and TCM meridian and chakra balancing techniques to nurture the mind-body-spirit connection. These energetic tools help identify and gently clear blockages/stored traumas that may be preventing the body from returning to a regulated, grounded state. By supporting the nervous system and releasing deeper layers of imbalance, healing is able to unfold more fully—physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically.
